This is an album of collaborative instrumental compositions for steel guitar, inspired by the beauty of the gulf islands. Lewis Silberberg and I recorded in the fall and winter of 2012/2013 and I am extremely proud of it! Lewis would come over to me and Patrick's old house off commercial drive on some sunny mornings, we'd set up a couple of microphones in the kitchen and work hard for a couple of hours, playing our weissenborns, dobros and National guitars. Then Lewis would take us out for pizza. Lots of good times, learning and laughter, and this is what came out of that. I hope you enjoy listening to it it as much as we enjoyed making it.
