Resonance is the first album I recorded with my band, The Blue Island Trio. It is a really special and important album to me because it marked my first ever experimentations as a writer of music (I can't quite bring myself to say 'Composer', as it brings to mind a dour and wigged-looking European dude from the 1700s). And once I started writing music I was like "Hey, this isn't so hard! And also quite fun!" And the friendships I forged in the band with Brendan and Dave were, and continue to be tremendously rich and fruitful. Anyhow, there are also some pretty sweet tunes on there. I personally think that Blackwing, Gold Road and Anchor might be my three favourite songs I have ever written. Dragonboat is up there too, but it's on Beachglass and now I'm changing the subject. But go on and see which ones you like! Have fun with it!
